I was raised in Pittsburgh by my awesome Mom who could not french braid my hair, which made me obsessed with how to do hair. I promised myself that if I have daughters I will be able to braid their hair! Over the past few years of doing hair I learned to specialize in extensions, keratins and blow-dry styling, but my new passion is perfecting highlighting and balayage. Some of my personal passions include travel and learning about different cultures.
I’m a very high energy, bold type of stylist! I always knew that I would enter the world of beauty because I have been in love with makeup since I was little. I started beauty school three days after I graduated high school and I continue to love what I do seven years later.
Flat iron curls and all kinds of styling are my favorites, but I am very experienced in straightening, color and haircuts.
I’m a native Floridian with a love of art and beauty. I really enjoy creating the perfect hair color by combining techniques for the perfect balance in hair color. I find it so enjoyable to use techniques like balayage, baby lights, a toner and a box of extensions to create a gorgeous makeover. I love classic beauty looks as much as I enjoy trendy, edgy looks.
As a native Floridian, I have learned all about how different textures respond differently to our humidity. I graduated from Aveda Institute and I love Aveda Color.
I started doing hair at the young age of 10 by doing braids. Eventually, I fell in love with color, but braiding is my first love. I’m skilled at color and cuts, and I am working towards emphasizing on textured and curly hair.
Karesten’s love affair with hair started when her grandmother taught her how to do her first roller set. Since then, she has trained with Paul Mitchell and Aveda, worked on runway shows, been an educator and has been committed to her education.
I was raised in a family of Stylists so I always knew being a hairstylist was the career for me. I have been making Boca beautiful since early 2011.
My favorite service to offer is the full package! I love making over clients when they are ready for color, cut and style. Its seeing their face light up when they look in the mirror as I finish that really motivates me. I love it!
Born and raised in South Florida, I knew at age six the world of beauty was where my passion lied. I graduated from Aveda Institute for Cosmetology, and also have a skin specialist license.
I have done hair and make up for celebrity events as well as Miami Fashion Week. I am uniquely artistic and intricate, whether you’re wanting a polished contemporary style, unique edgy color & cut, or wanting that beach blonde look, I’m your girl!
The Celtic origin of the name Callie is colorful. I have always been creative with my hands. Prior to pursuing my career as a hairstylist, I worked as a pottery teacher. Sculpting pottery gave me the direction of utilizing what I’ve come to realize is my best tool, my hands. This influenced my decision to the Aveda Institute of South Florida.
I believe every individual is a unique work of art, and I believe that a person’s appearance starts with their hair. Due to this belief, I take extreme pride in sculpting a masterpiece for each unique individual who sits in my chair.
From highlights to cuts, custom color or beautiful blow-outs and balayage, I am equipped with the knowledge and experience to capture any look you desire. There is nothing that brings me more satisfaction and happiness than making someone feel beautiful and confident in their self.
